Our winners are in!
We’re delighted to announce the category winners in the 2026 AVN Most Inspiring Accountant Awards.
These five firms are very different – in size, in location, in how long they’ve been in business, in their personalities. But reading through their entries it’s clear they have two things in common:
First, they know what they want to achieve, the clients they want to work with and the value they want to bring to them. Then they take the actions that make it happen. Not “I’ll do this one day” but “This is what I’m doing today.”
Second, they don’t just measure success by the P&L. If what they do means their client sleeps soundly at night instead of worrying about the business, that’s success. If a client gets time back to spend with their family, that’s success. If the firm owner can take a holiday totally disconnected from work, that’s success.
Understanding what really matters to themselves, their clients and their team is what made them stand out in a very high level competition.

These five category winners now compete to win the overall prize, the 2026 AVN Most Inspiring Accountant Award, which will be decided on Thursday 15th October in a special Accountants Helping Accountants webinar.
We’ll be interviewing each of the category winners to discover their what, why, when and how. The session will be absolutely stuffed with golden nuggets – strategies and tips for any accountant to take away and use in their own firm.
