I’m formerly an accountant, working for KPMG for over 16 years. I have authored four books to date, all focused on helping business owners grow their business with less stress.
At KPMG, I worked in insolvency, meaning that my day job was actually running businesses of all shapes and sizes, from building oil rigs to making dog food. I left KPMG in 2011, since when I have worked exclusively as a business coach, with AVN and also in my own business. Now I love helping accountants to develop and grow.
My business is called Business Enjoyment because I believe that instead of creating a business which leads to stress, anxiety and worry, we should have something that we are able to control. If we do the right things, we can actually enjoy what we do on a day-to-day basis. Businesses – including accounting firms – shouldn’t be about stress and pain, but should be about something bigger than that. That’s why I work with AVN – because they are of exactly the same mindset, values and beliefs.
