I originally trained in accountancy and I am also a Chartered Financial Planner. I spent nearly 20 years with Clerical Medical Investment Group, winning several sales accolade awards, and was a leading member of the team responsible for developing and marketing their pensions products. For the last 10 years I’ve been a business growth adviser and mentor.
My role with AVN is to work with you, monitor your progress and hold you accountable. Because if you’re held accountable, you’re much more likely to actually do what you know you need to do.
My passion is ideas. I really like taking what appear to be complex ideas and then simplifying them so that people can actually use them. I love it when I see people apply ideas that they hadn’t realised would work, because then you see success.
I love it when people find out that they didn’t know what they don’t know! Because once you do know what you don’t know, it’s amazing what a difference it can make.
